Synthetic ATF
I'll be changing my tranny oil in the very near future and would like to use Redline Hi-temp synthetic fluid. I know that regular ATF is in the tranny now and what I would like to know is if it is safe to mix both oils since it is near impossible to get out all 10 liters of oil for a complete swap?
...or should I stay with regular oil? I don't have an extra tranny cooler yet but it is on my to-do list along with a temperature guage. I guess this thread is directed more towards the people who currently or have previously used synthetic fluid in their tranny but all suggestions are welcome and appreciated.

hate to see you cry
The fluids can be mixed. At my local parts shop there's plain ATF, syn ATF, and a blended ATF, so mixing must be OK. Without a flush, probably only about half will come out.
