Tom I'll call ya when we leave. I'd love to get down to see Bill run if he runs in the PM so might leave a little earlier.

Other than this, Tom, do you have any plan for SVXers who're going to be there? Like where are we going to see the palm trees? Any schedule? Go to your house first or straight to the airport?

I can't make it on Sat. I'd be coming on Sun if my svx doesn't give me any problems half-way. I'll let you know more...

The Brewski's Sports Bar drunkfest, is both Friday and Saturday Nights from 9:00 pm to 1:30 am .
However, since some of us work on Saturday, I think Friday night is out, for me, anyway.
The Airport is two turns and a couple of blocks from Brewski's, and our house is two turns and a couple of miles from the airport.
The itinerary is very fluid.
Once you get to the airport, finding our house is super easy.
My cell # is 301-707-3437, and the house # is 304-738-0012.

If you are coming into Cumberland MD on 68 from the East, watch your speed from mile marker 59 into Cumberland, especially around "Rocky Gap".

Take the Exit 43B.

At the bottom of the ramp there is a stop sign.

At the stop sign take a left, and drive to the next stop sign.

Take a right.

Go strait through the green light, and take the Canal Parkway to the right.

Follow it to the right, for two miles (40 MPH) untill you enter West Virginia.

Take the first left after you cross into WV.

It is Airport Road, and takes you strait to the airport.

If you are going to our house, do not turn into Airport Road, but continue traveling up Route 28 South for 0.6 mile.

Take the left at the white Higsons Farm sign.
(There is also a brown Public Stream Access Sign)

This is Old Airport Road.

Drive two miles on Old Airport Road, and our house is on the left.

If you are coming to Cumberland from the west, take Exit 43B.

At the stop sign at the bottom, go strait.

On the right is the enterance to The Canal Parkway.

Follow it to the right for two miles into West Virginia.

As soon as you enter WV, take the left onto Airport Road.

This takes you strait to the airport.

There are two nice motels/hotels down the street.
The Best Western Braddock Motor Inn(301-729-3300) is a sponsor of the races and has a pool and exercise room, and the one I was telling you about was a Comfort Inn and Suites(301-729-6400) also with a pool. When I said two adults, and three kids, they have rooms with two queen size beds and a pull out sofa.

By the way these hotels are listed in LaVale Maryland 21502
