Mr. SVXFiles,

Fasting is a wonderful experience allowing one to reach a greater awareness of one's inner self. With your obvious elevated state of awareness - based on your ability to do the fabled 4.44 mod singlehanded - my belief is that you would have to take a step not experienced by many Westerners - the nirvana-enducing urine-only fast

May your ancestors great you at the door

yes, starvation causes hallucinations, not unlike psycotropic drugs.

My dear fellow SVXer, Are you WHACKED RIGHT OUT OF YOUR SKULL???
I've been home 11 minutes and Ive had three rum and OJs,

not the guy who killed his wife, but the beverage!!!

With any luck, in the true American style I hope to consume an entire cow, with barbecue sause!!
If I have to starve myself, it is because I can no longer afford the wretched excesses that I have come to love...

(4 rum and OJs)

And the thought of a "urine-only fast", EEEEWWWWWWW!!!!!!!
That stuff will take paint off a battleship!!!

And if I meet my ancestors at "the door",,, My Grandfather will most likley have a shot and a beer with me, while my Grandmother will look "down from above".

Hi Grama, you were the only one who was ever nice to me...
(5 rum and OJs )

Chike, I'd hate to put off our showdown again but I cannot make it. I dunno if you have read about it yet but my motor went to hell 2 days ago. Seems to be the rings are toast and I am loosing compression in my #1 cylinder and burning a ton of oil(lots-o-smoke). Anyway I am in the market for a junkyard engine for now. Sorry I won't be able to make it out but I am even more sorry I now have to wait to get my konis

No problem Tom. Good luck sourcing a new motor.

The way things are going, I may not be racing on June 25th either... Seems like I dented the exhaust pipe leading from my driver's side header 3 days ago, and my trans pan is dripping ATF.

Svxfiles is shipping me my old trans pan and bolts, but I'll have to see when I'll have the time to work on the exhaust thing - my new job and house are both keeping me very busy these days...

Either way guys, I WILL be in attendance on June 25th - just not sure if I'll be racing yet.

Well I found a new motor sooner than I thought. I will be picking it up tomorrow and I will be swapping them next wed and thurs. I should be on the road by thurs easy. I may just be able to make it. The funds are what may be stopping me as of right now.

Could it be that Mr. SVXFiles desires to open up a can of woop-### on Mr. TOMSSVX's humble car?

Looks like...

...my car will be ready to go by the 25th! I spoke to Svxfiles tonight, and I'll have his shop bend up some exhaust pipe to remove my two primary cats. I'll also have them take out my third cat and install the following 2-into-1 cat (2" inlets, 2.5" outlet) made by Magnaflow:

I bought this cat just a few minutes ago from www.performancepeddler.com. It's listed on their site for $84.77, but with my returning customer discount, I got it for $60.77 shipped! Should be at my door-step by the middle of next week...

Who knows, maybe with a better flowing exhaust system, I might just be able to eek out a 14 sec run in the hot summer temps.

-Chike

P.S. Gotta use instances when things break on my car as an excuse to upgrade and make it even faster!
