Which brake light? Do you mean the one which warns you that the parking brake comes on? Most likely, I would think it would be a fault in the switch that tells the car you have released the parking brake.

If it's the 'stop lamp' light, then you have a brake light out. Unfortunately, it seems that if both brake lights on one side burn out, that warning light won't tell you.

If it's the 'ABS' light, then you have a problem with your ABS system.

You are probably a little low on brake fluid. As your pads wear, more fluid sits in each cylinder rather than the master cylinder.

Check your fluid level.

This generally happens as temps get lower. Add a few drops of brake fluid.

Think I know

1. no ABS

2. Dont think its a burnt light because its intermitant

3. Had the car on the lift to look at the possiblity of future upgrades (ie AWD) and noticed the pads are coming do. So it's probubly needing fluid like you guys said. The cars only got 29,500 miles so it probubly has the origional pads. Im pretty sure it still has the origional rubber. Im replacing those soon to (Motegi rims & Kumho tires)
