Subject Does anybody know it for sure? 1-3-5 or 1-2-3 or what?

No, but find the connector B59, pin 20 and measure the voltage. If the torque control is on the voltage shoud read 0V, if it's off it should read 5V.

If the TCU/ECU wire connector is not good (broken or shorted) you will have the torque control on all the time - or when the temp goes up in your case.

If I recall correctly this wire is cut when you install the QC - if there's a bad connection or something this might be the result.

I've had it..... bad connection - when going up hill the engine bogged down :-)

From the fuel injection manual, page 42.
Engine torque control B59 20 - - ON: 0, OFF :5
