Several door dings, a bend in the front end of the hood, and a front fender crease viewable in the polo green/blue pic; In person, a close look would yield moderate "orange peal" on the roof; But for a color change, $1500 cash and 2 weeks of down time, how could I complain. They said they have yet to wet sand and polish it once the paint cures. East-End Body in Houston is a 36 year old family owned shop. One of my students recommended them. Other shop estimates were $3300-$4200 with a down time of at least 4 weeks.

Great color man. I can't stand the factory 'silver' SVXs, the silver just completely drowns out the cars headlights, signals, and wheels. It just makes the whole car look 'blah'. That DARKER color titanium looks INCREDIBLE!

$1500 (as mentioned in previous post on 08/26). However, upon reconsideration, I should have spent more to get better quality. Due to limited funds, I settled for less. In time, I might repaint to achieve an improved quality when funds are more available. It just depends on how much ongoing mechanical repairs are necessary. It is my commuter car- about 80 round trip freeway miles daily. Moderate gas mileage, but I really like the SVX looks and ride. THANX to all for your positive responses!
