Free parts for FWD trans

Hey everyone. I have a bad FWD trans that I dissected a month or so ago. The trans only had 1st gear when I bought my FWD car over a year ago. Just throwing this out there incase anyone wants the pieces for [I don't know what]. Free. Take what you want. Pick through the pile. I don't care. Local pickup only OR if I'm in your area I can meet you. (I travel a lot.) Also the case to an AWD diff with a bad ring gear. If no one is interested I will be recycling these parts next week. Pics if anyone cares..

FEATHERS INCLUDED!

Re: Free parts for FWD trans

We recycle our blown trannies... Take a whole day and break them all down to steel and aluminum piles then drag them down to the scrap yard.... When we have a full load we can make up to $300 from the aluminum and steel... BUT thats loading the Yukon with a ton-o-crap

Re: Free parts for FWD trans

Is this a standard FWD 4EAT from the SVX, or a different gearing ratio? I'm looking to change to 4.11 or 4.44 front and rear, but I don't quite have the coin to front for a new tranny.

Yeah this wouldn't help you. Stock FWD transmission (only had 1st gear) and an AWD blown diff.

I'll be taking this to recycling next week when I get a chance. Mods if you want to delete this thread...please do so. Thanks.
