Speed Run From Ohio
I got back home last night with my new SVX at 10:00PM. It was a great trip, with a stop at Doug and Amy's. While there, I had a great dinner, saw Lwin and his brother, and played with their 3 puppies.
I made the trip of 2,700 miles in 43 hours of driving. What a great trip.  It was worth it !!!!

Sounds like a great ride, Earl. Wish you could've dropped down south a bit on your trip back, but, I understand you had to "modock" as we say here in the Bluegrass State and points south.

Gave her a bath yesterday and she is in the garage now. It looks like I can give her a coat of way today. This one is going to get pampered!
Saw a red 95 in Montana. I stopped and talked to the owner when they stopped to get gas. She had only had it for 3 months and it had been repainted already. Some one had keyed it!! She loves the car, and I gave her the information about this site. She seemed interested, so we shall see it she makes it here. I wish I could have gone south and visited you Randy, but I guess I could have zig zagged all the way across the US, but it was 2,700 miles as it was. I made it from Doug's place to home in 36 hours including two naps of 5 hours. Moss did not grow on the tires - as they say somewhere.

2700 miles divided by 43 hrs. = 62.79 mph average. That's a pretty decent average. You must have really been moving. Glad you got home safe and sound. Now let me get an eggnog & sit by the fire.... then you can regale us with stories about your 'new' SVX.

Lets just say that Montana helped make up for lost time. Cruse control set because the spedo kept creeping up to triple digits when I was not paying attention. It is definitally a touring car with extreme comfort. The car preformed excellent. It was very happy to be out of storage and on the road again. (that reminds me of a song) I will have some stories about the new one and pics in the near future. Oh, the song is "O Christmas Tree"
