To be honest, my last g/f had a few lurkers and it didn't bother me in the least. I always figured you either accept it or you don't. HOWEVER....heheheh, it was clearly a double-standard situation. One old friend of mine, over an hour away and unseen for over two years, caused a panic over a few phone calls. (Her car blew up in Indy)

The only one in my past that I don't get along with is my first wife and I haven't seen her since '80 - proof that there is a God.

My thoughts and opinions stem from the histories of many friends. I only know of one couple, other than y'all, that has been able to carry it off. To me, it signifies a lack of trust that should preempt a wedding. No total faith and trust, no reason to marry.

Plus I still believe his age is too young to have gained the experience to know what it is he actually likes. Maybe he's only had chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. What's going to happen when he gets a whiff of Chunky Monkey?

First of all, please realize, if you "dump her" she will always want to come back for more. What I am saying here is not meant to be taken personally and is in no form degrading to women. Man, you are in the driver's seat if you make the first move. Everyone will win and chances are you will come back home after and in between college and have your prize waiting for you. I know it's hard, but try to look into the future 25 years and imagine if this is one girl you would regret not staying in touch with. Basically, cut it off, stay in touch on occasion, and you will really not be cutting anything off. College is probably the smallest most hormone infested vicinity there is. If you neglect that because of a girl you have to answer to, you might have regrets. You're in the driver's seat, and you are simply here to have fun.

So im at carbondale now. The goodbye was typical hollywood, kissing hugs and what not. I hate to say it but the WEEKEND OF MOVE IN i hooked up with this random girl from the building next to mine.

Me and my g/f left it on pause. we decided that we can do what we want but still talk regularly and just not tell eachother about it. I know i know, very shady and prolly gonna lead to a big steamy pile-o-you know what.
