Tri-State?

I'm relatively new here but I was just wondering when the Tri-State meet is happening out in Webster, MA. Or if it is happning, or if it was all just a dream...

Ya when is it. There should have been a signup by now.

In the past it has been at tri-state subaru on the second weekend in October.

Who sets up the tri-state meet? Is it tri-state subaru or was it red95SVX?

Hey! Long time no post!

The Tri- State meet will be held in October. The exact date is not set, but it will probably be on the 9th. I am meeting with some of Tri-State's people today to try to get a solid date and agenda. They have been very busy lately and they are short staffed.....so it's possible (but not likely) that they won't have a meet at all. As usuall I am pushing for a BBQ, a tech session with Senior Master Subaru Tech. Jerry Costa (who, if I remember correctly, holds EVERY available ASE certification), a few door prizes, AND back by popular demand, a scenic drive to Dresser Hill Farm.

My internet connection at home is not working...so I'll post more info the next time I have a chance to get online.

Perhaps...

Perhaps if Tri-State dosen't come together, we can "organize" something in its place. But less swealtering heat and traffic this time. I hope it does, however. Would be nice to go to something that actually is organized, right Freak? hehe

I agree. Anyone have an idea on who to contact at Tri-State that might know the details? Dave might know, but I lost his number ... Maybe he'll thow us a post soon. If not, I'm all for getting something together...

:(

Sorry for the delay....still no internet at home and work has been crazy busy.

Ok, bad news. Tri-State informed me today that the meet is off. They are just too busy and too under staffed to host it this time around. They apologize, and hope that things work out better for the spring meet.

One alternative that comes to my mind is to have the meet down the road from Tri-State at Webster Lake. Good scenery, plenty of room, and we could still have some sort of BBQ. Just a thought.
