Um. HELLO!?!?! YOU HAVE A ROCKETRY SECTION, so OBVIOUSLY you must be able to sell this stuff, and I'm OBVIOUSLY not selling fireworks.

Morons. I would put it back up, but luckily someone hit 'buy it now', so we're doing the deal anyway.

Ebay must have an influx of morons this week.

LOL

It amazes me that we can have such succesful companies out there with such idiocy going on.

Succesful in spite of it all....

Are there still other "Rocketry" adds in there?

They will probably start a fireworks section that won't have anything in it because they pulled all of the auctions becuase they are illegal!

re: that is an interesting point

question: where does ebay draw the line in regards to a product being legal or illegal? i know in georgia fireworks are illegal. but in some states they are legal (well i ASS-U-ME that firework are legal from the billboards on the highway saying "UNCLE BOB's FIREWORKS STORE and then seeing the neon lit signs as i pass bob's place). so how does ebay determine what is ok to post and what has to be pulled?

what i think is funny is that fireworks are illegal in georgia except on new years and july 4th. contraband legal days! wonder if i can drive to uncle bob's the day before and pickup a truck load of fireworks and sell them on july 4th at a mall parking lot or something. maybe call it 'uncle harry's fireworks or something".

speaking about ebay, i remember seeing a russian disarmed mig for sale from australia. i wonder if it would be legal to buy that and fly around downtown atlanta in it. how long do you think it would take before i get shot down? damn i need a couple million dollars.

It usually depends. Here in WI we're pretty strict so we have law that's basically "if it goes up or blows up it's illegal", hence, no firecrackers, and no bottle rockets.

HOWEVER, you can get both of these at any fireworks store, but they make you buy a permit (which is about 5 bucks) before they can sell you anything 'that goes up or blows up'. THe permit says "I'll only use it on my property during hte 4th of July" Pfft.
