Yeah, I am pretty paranoid and wear Dainese armored leathers when I ride. Too much money invested in college eduction loaded in the brain to waste on beaning a guardrail unprotected. Death is not feared, but permanent disability is.....

Nobody rides with me either, don't want to be explaining to their parents about their daughter is in the hospital, in other words how I screwed up and got into an accident.

Hi Joe

End of 1999 there was in middle Europe a thunderstorm called "Lothar". So nearly all the paint of my SVX was damage by falling bricks. My car insurance had to pay complete new paint of the car. So I told my garage, that they all paint in burgundy color.
Thanx to the storm

Greetings

Thanks Kusi, that explains it then. Yours may be the only one world-wide that is all Claret

Looks nice. I am assuming you stuck with the original colour. The one-colour cars that came out about '95-'96 were lighter in tone. That was called Burgundy. The older darker colour is called Claret, at least in the US market.

Ok. That it was called "claret" in USA I didn't know.

I just looked in the 1993 catalogue. The official name of the color in Germany and Switzerland was "dark red mica".

Then I will change soon my profile. Hm, what I will write know: claret, dark red mica? I think, I will let it on burgundy. Or not? Complicated

Cracklin' Rose

Burgundy sounds good to me. It will only confuse the Americans, and Dark Red Mica has not got much of a cachet, has it?

My car colour as listed in my locker is Guinness over Shiraz. You can see I named the car after something I am fond of.

It purrs so nicely, I could have called it my sweet little black 'n' red pussy.

But that could be open to misinterpretation also.

Joe

Joe my little pussy at this moment has climbed onto and is sitting purring on my lap. A pussy astride is something else also.

It's a pleasure Joe.

Unfortunately our local government decided to commercialise the Post Office. We are now waiting up to 3 weeks for local mail and even longer for overseas....."what problems" said the CEO

Your governor may be broken. '94-'97 cars are limited to 135. Also, were your stock rims or aftermarket larger rims on? That can have an effect, too.
