help solar pick out some wheels and offset questions

im looking at a set of 19x8.5 adr battle exe wheels that are 35mm offsets

im assuming since the svx is a 55mm offfset and going to a 35mm offset is going to push it outward rather inwards

i have ran 19x8.5 stern st wheels in the past with a 45mm offet with no issues and also 18x8 with a 38mm offset the axis decade wheels

the tires i will be running are 235-35-19s

these are the wheels i have narrowed down to

these are a great match but not much of a outer lip on them but they 19x8 40mm offset i could still use 235s on them with no issues

http://www.ebay.com/itm/390375926586...84.m1438.l2649
these i like a lot but im worried abought the offset of 35mm

this was my pearl svx with the same stern wheels 19x8.5s 45 mm offset

i have rolled the fenders for the new wheel sizes already

im assuming the lower the offset number the farther out the wheel sits ?

im open to sugestions and which ones you like best,

thanks every one =>

Re: help solar pick out some wheels and offset questions

I have to say that last one is an eye catcher. I like. I think an 8.5 rim with 35 offset may work but you may catch the inner liner on hard turns. If you have not already get the upgraded rear sway from nevin, lucky he has some ready now. That helped reduce the hard turns catching on my 18x8.5 34 offset rims.

If you dont go with those my next pick is #1, seems to be a deeper lip then #2 I like that.

Re: help solar pick out some wheels and offset questions

thanks for the input guys

i need to make a decesion here soon,

i have a feeling going with the adr wheels with a 35mm offset is going to be pushing it too much

i guess i should play it safe with the 40mm rs wheels or the 45mm sterns

I bet your wheel bearings will love that
I have been lucky I have not had any trouble with wheel bearings, Though being a taller and wider rim is probably helping keep the alignment of the wheel bearing.

Re: help solar pick out some wheels and offset questions

This is what I am talking about on the rubbing.
This happened before I put on the heavier rear sway.

and the inside

This is again with 18x8.5 and 225/40/18's 34 offset
