Not sure the "Ding Thing" works well on a SVX... My "Ding Guy's" didn't. Something about the materials in the body

Might be worth a try...

Re: DENT doctor

He has to be good. On a trip to Canada in a blinding snow storm again back in the day, only a few months after buying the car, We stopped at a motel . When we came out there was a dent in the door, Young nephew of mine was parked next to me all night but refused to admit he dented his uncles car. The Subaru dealer paid to have the dent removed by the dent doctor and it looked perfect to the day [I] sold it

I used the "Ding King" on a couple of hail dents when I first got my car... used carefully and with some practice on another piece of sheetmetal first...it worked great.... wouldn't use it on a "crease" type dent...

Re: DENT doctor

I have also had good luck with my "Dent King" on simple dings. Follow the warning about having a good paint job. It pulled the clear coat off an old Volvo I had.

Re: DENT doctor

Never had any luck with this thing. Very small dents (less than 1/2") were too small. Had to be massaged out from the back.

Now if someone threw a baseball and made a dent with a larger surface area, that might be different...

Re: DENT doctor

Last year, I was at my Volvo mechanic's shop (30 years of working on my cars). A drunk on a bicycle came down the street and smacked into the back of my Volvo. His head left a big dent in the rear quarter fender. Nicholi, cursed him out in Serbian and then, got a plunger from the bathroom and poped the dent right back out. Where there's a means there is a way.

Re: DENT doctor

Being in the car business, I use a paintless dent removal service at least weekly. If you can located a skilled person in your area, they can do a great job.
