need help ASAP (LH knock sensor where?)
I'm ready to replace my KNock sensor (LH code 28) is the Left knock sensor on the passenger side looking at the engine from the front?

I do believe that left and right are from the driver's perspective meaning it's the tougher of the 2 sensors to replace. I would replace both sensors because I'm sure the other one won't last much longer.

Actually it's your other left
I should have been more clear. It's the perspective of anyone sitting in the car. (Also, think of our wheels)

David is correct. Code 28 is for knock sensor 2, which is referred to as the LH Knock Sensor. As usual with car parts, this left hand side is a standard protocol, which rates left and right as you sit in the car, looking forward.
So the sensor you need to replace is the one on the right top of the engine as you look in under the hood. In your case it is the driver's side of the engine. I hate to have to tell you this, but it is the more difficult of the two to replace. It is buried way back there under the manifold. You will need to take off the alternator to even have a chance to see it. It's not impossible, but a leprechaun trained in gynaecology would be a useful friend to help with the job. Joe
