svx breaking

Hi all,

For us South Devon owners, there is an svx being broken for spares at Ashburton Tyres. Apart from missing engine and transmission it looks fairly intact. If you alrady know then apologies for posting.

Already bagged the prop shaft.

Thumbs up

Thanks Kuritsa.

I had already sent them an email.

BTW, Graham [F1SVX] tells me the middle prop bearing is not user servicable according to the manual. You will need to swap in the whole piece, but at least you now have the part.

Joe

Thanks for the info.

I thought as much about the centre bearing, was the same result for my XT. I have the complete prop shaft now, which looks very servicable. I'm having a 500 mile gearbox check next week so I'll have the whole shaft swapped over. Seems to be the sensible thing to do. Very pleased so far with the machine and all seems to be working well.

SVX breaking in Devon

Hi, I'm the owner of the black SVX breaking in Devon. PLEASE do not phone Ashburton Tyres as the car is only kept there and I dont want them to have to field my calls (they do enough for me already!). I can be contacted on 07985 152462.
The engine + box are gone but all the panels etc are still present. As an aside, I also have for sale a really nice silver (UK) SVX for sale. One owner + the dealer and 81,000 miles with full history. A genuinely nice car throughout! (asking £4500). Al
