Iam starting to hate people.

Some one ran into my rear bumper today while it was parked, and it caused alot of paint to start to ship and fall off, it casued about a 12inch, by 5 inch section to peel and crack. Of course no one left a note. This wasent even a parking garage, it was on the street parking with the rear next to a drive way.

Wow, what jerks. Just goes to show how many people are self centered and irresponsible these days. I hope your insurance covers it.

The cost to fix this will be small.
Your rates shouldn't go up if you opt to have it repainted professionally, but, there is always the option of getting a few vials of touch-up until the day you decide to switch colors.

In any case if you find out who it was, destroy them.

Unfortunately revenge is never justified. People just can't be trusted. Spikes on the license plates might help prevent people from running into you.

Actually that would only contribute to the problem.

I caught someone who put a ding in my driver's door. I had them reopen their door to confirm their door lined up exactly with the ding. We exchanged info and I reported it to my insurance co. A month later I get a call from the insurance co. and they told me the other party denied they did it. Nothing I can do as the only witness was my aunt and I did not have any photos for evidence.

Why, I don't hit people, but if someone hits me then I don't need to go through the frustration of repairing the problem, and they wont wind up with -0- damage again

Got a estimate to basicly repaint my bumper and get the new clip, $400 U.S., in all honesty i wouldent be as mad about this becasue living in the city and parking on fairly crouded streets will leave you with dings and dents, but about a year ago my friends car got totloled by a Toyota rav 4 that turned right into the side of the car. They had the insurance person come out and inspect the car, and he took money off the value of the car becasue of very similar damgage, i think it was $400 off the value of the car. And i dont want that to happen to me.
