Jerking Idle(i founf out what the problem is)

Ok, i've had jerking idle, and jerking engine, and the whole car jerking for 4 month now, tried all that you guys recomended, didn't work!

So, i finally went to a mechanic (again) today, and he found what the problem is it's the valves they're blown....or one of them i don't know.....All i know that it's the valves and costs 600 green ones to fix....

Ok, hope that helps some of you out there!

Glad you got it fixed, but...

we need more information about these valves for this info to be useful to others. There are many valves in the engine compartment of an SVX. Can you be more specific? Can you post a copy of your service receipt for us to review?

"valves are blown"???? if your mechanic is using that terminology about the valves, Id get another mechanic....
and save your $ for the real problem.....

If he thinks you need a valve job, thats a whole nother story...
valves cant "blow" they open and close, thats about it.
They may not seal to well anymore due to carbon build up, or you could of dropped a valve, but thats pretty rare and it would feel like it running on 5 cylinders
