Pick up a used one out of a Legacy / Impreza the FWD ones usually go cheap...

Significant Technical Input Registered SVX
Any year Legacy / Impreza FWD 4EAT will work, so 90-95

As for the FWD 5-speed same deal, any FWD 5-Speed from a 90-95 Legacy or Impreza should work.

If you have a good front diff and matching pinion gear I have a FWD SVX trans out of mine that I'd like to sell. Was rebuilt about 25k miles ago. Still shifts great, no slippage, no leaks.
