This wheel comes in bright silver with a machined lip or with a darker, hyper-silver center. The major differences between the Kyalama and the Mashi are the concealed lug nuts and the lack of allen bolts around the rim.

Here is the question: It comes in two sizes:

17"x7" wheel with a 42mm offset
17x8" with a 40mm offset

Any advantage/disadvantage to either width, considering the offset?

Here are the 2 Toyo Proxes4 tire options (with the stock SVX size in red between them for comparison)

225/45/17:...25.1" diameter...8.9" width...828 revs/mile
225/50/16:...24.9" diameter...9.1" width...835 revs/mile
245/40/17:...24.7" diameter...9.6" width...840 revs/mile

Any information that will help me make an educated choice is appreciated.

John that's an awefully generous 245 at 9.6 inches! I don't think a wheel that size would fit and clear your body all the time. Keep in mind our race car with 275/50r16s that are listed at 9.8 inches in width would have massive rubbing issues without some sawzall work.
