Water pump differences??
Hi, My 1996 UK model SVX needs a water pump badly,no one in the UK can supply one (not even Subaru UK)
 The part number for a UK pump is 21111AA070 where as the US number is 21111AA033 Any ideas what the differece is and will it fit?? I have ordered it from http://www.1stsubaruparts.com/ they do not know if it will fit.Thanks MAL.

I would be surprised if it didn't, but maybe you can tell us if it fits or not. Hope so.

Just guessing, I would say the U.S. spec water pump has a slightly larger impeller,to increase flow.

He's buying a U.S. spec water pump is he not? It was my estimation that the U.S. spec water pump may have a slightly larger impeller due to the much higher ambient air temperatures the U.S. spec SVX'S operate under.
