Radiator Fan speed

Well I checked over my motor since I got the thermostat and rad cap replaced AGAIN since the one I put in 2 weeks ago were junk and I noticed that my driverside fan spins good, sits flush and is closer to the radiator. I then looked at the passengerside and the fan wasn't spinning at the same speed as the other side, has a slight wobble to it, and it looks like it sits more away from the radiator as the other fan sits closer. Any thoughts?

Pull the fan assemblies off of the radiator and check the nut that holds the fan blades to the shaft. Take it off and pull the fan blades off the motor shaft, check for wear. Also check the the bolts holding the motor to the shroud.

The fans run at I think three different speeds depending on different parameters. But they should run at the same speed.

so...

....when are you gonna do your HG's

I'll do them when hell freezes over Like I said it's fine know after another new T-stat and rad cap, but I want to go over ALL things related to the cooling before I even hear HG.

Atta boy! BTW have you tried the block tester kit yet? I hear your HG's are leaking like a sieve

Seriously though, id replace the pass fan then, wobble on any rotating object affects efficiency and speed by increasing centripetal resistance. A slower spinning fan hence cant pull as much air, and our grilles are restrictive enough.

Edit: Irk yeah I forgot about the fan nuts..... In my humble defense I "sleep" in a room with a cat and 4 kittens, about 3 hours a night nowadays

Well I took out both fans and the pass. side feels like it has more resistance than the driverside fan by turning them by hand. Also I don'tnow if this is correct or not but the pass. fan has 4 big blades and the driver side has 5 skinny blades?
