Due to the impending weather conditions, we have been discussing our options for a rain date for the actual beach portion of our meet.

Bear in mind, there will be a meet RAIN or SHINE, if there is rain/wind/impending doom, we will go with our backup plan, which is to have a BBQ/MeetnGreet/OffRoad meet for Saturday at All We'll Drive in West Creek NJ, and to hold the beach meet on Sunday (weather permitting).

Through a few calls and from the general vibe from the members who are attending, this solution to the impending weather issue for Saturday seems the most agreeable.

NOTE: There will be a good amount of seats available in the cars if we do end of going off-road. There will be at least three to four Legacies/Outbacks with seating so that you will not need to worry about getting your SVX dirty.

As of now, we are playing it by ear, but the weather forecast does not look good. Regardless of the weather, there will be a meet, but the determination of the location will be made Friday night based upon the projected weather conditions for Saturday morning. Either way, there will be food, there will be fun, and there will be plenty of Subarus!

Also keep in mind the weather forcast is not applicable to south jersey. It's been "supposed to rain" all month now

most of the weather reports I have seen say that the rain is supposed to hit our area on saturday evening/night. If I come i will be there by 10 am or 11 am. Where should I go first? Give me the address and my GPS will do the rest

I just went to the DMV and both my Claret and the Panda are registered with the proper plates.

(I put the SVXR8Ed back on the correct car and switched my other generic plates over to the Panda

MAJOR bummer about the weather.

I can't make it this weekend. My other baby, Maja (known as the Cutest Dog in the Country) has been diagnosed with Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. She is much better (not at death's door) with antibiotics, but I can't kennel her. Good thing someone else took over napkin duty.

I'll watch this thread. If the gathering is postponed until next Sat (13th) or even the 27th/28th, I'm still in.

Tom, thanks for the tip about the Holiday Inn in Manahawkin. They are nice about canceling. At least I have checked it out for next year and know I have to reserve early for Saturdays. Internet customers seem to like it, in case anyone asks you.
