Tom, are you coming? If you are for sure, maybe we can get Christine back in shape and bring her! We'll have to see how OT's schedule is for the week. She hasn't been on any road trips since we took her to Chicago at Christmastime.

Sometime this weekend we are going to scope the park out for a good lot. If you remember from last year, the park is fairly hugemungous, and theres essntially one long, long road through it with parking lots scattered about. Last year we ended up in one of the smaller parking lots wayyy down the road, and this year wont be much diffrent, but id like to try to figure out vaugely how far down the road we'll actually be.

*EDIT* Tom and I went and scoped out the park...The most suitable spot is lot 15, roughly 6.7 miles from the park entrance.

I'm not one to jump out of the chute in the A of M, plus I want to spend some time in Joysey. So will head up on Friday night and hope the traffic doesn't ruin my anticipation.

I Looked into Atlantic City hotels/prices/distance from me and the park. Then moved to Vineland & Millville (family from there a couple of generations ago). Any recommendations for decent hotels nearer to the park or north of Atlantic City? Have to warn you, I'm a three star and above gal. (If I were to have ANYTHING crawling around in my bed it would be a cute SVX type and not bugs!)

This all assumes my dog gets well. She has been very sick for three days. Mommy can't put her in a kennel if she feels puny.

There is a Holiday Inn on RT 72 in Manahawkin. Might wanna see if that'll be ok for ya. Its about 5-10 minutes away from the shop so we could meet you there and have you follow us out to the park. Ask Tom and Di about that hotel, they had stayed there the last time they were out this way, I personally know nothing about it
