Lessons learned drag racing

Doot I mean dragging the 1/4. Can't edit that one.

Baseline starting point. Once something was removed it wasn't reattached
14.7 at 89 2 or 3 times with launches in 1st or 2nd at 2000-2500rpms.
Removed valve cover vents
14.6 at 91 launch in drive (hesitated shifting from 2nd to 34d in the previous launches
Removed 02 sensors to richen the runs (no light ever appeared), pulled vacumn line for fuel pressure regulator
14.5 at 92ish
Removed alt belt and ps belt (already running w/o ac of course)
14.29--14.4 at 94ish for 4 runs or so
Removed grill, turned mirrors in
14.3 at 94-no help
Removed rear deck lid
14.242
Removed hood
14.36

All runs were done with 1/3+ tank of 3 month old gas, no windows (which I wonder if that would've helped. Temps were 70-80 all day morning was the best for air density but that's when we ran our slower runs with of course a novice driver. Thought this might help some of ya gain a couple .1s
