Rare SVX on Ebay

See this 1987 Subaru SVX station Wagon (amadeus?) on Ebay. Unfortunately no photo posted.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1875434161

At first I thought it must be a typo (you know 1987, wagon, etc), but the text says the transmission only has a working first gear, so now I'm not so sure

Amadeus prototype was not introduced till 1993 If I recall correctly so it is just a Legacy Station Wagon. I could be wrong though so don't quote me.

must be my poor sense of humor needs even more tuning...I didn't really think it was an SVX...I had to look up the Amadeus spelling in your personal locker.

is that the way the passenger side airbag looks stock? The bottom edge looks like it's been peeled up some compared to other cars I have (and have seen), but then I've never seen a 95 model SVX.

Hmm.. the pass side airbag panel is seamless on mine. That one might have fired. All in all it looks pretty good from here except the bumpers, nice stock wheels, nice interior. Someone should look closer. (anyone with carfax?) Hey Mike.....

It look as if it was tempered with. But then again, heat does that to things. Both my 94s have the similear design. the interior designs were slighty changed between the 92/3 and 94+ around the airbag area.

I would guess so, since the 92 and 93 models had no passenger side airbag.

I've seen that car in person... almost bought it. It is the one immediatly preceding mine (Vin 80). It was in very rough shape though.

I didn't know they put cloth interior in AWD's in '95. I thought all AWD's were LSi's with Leather. It also does not have keyless entry and the alarm. I see only Cruise and fog switches on the left bank os switches. No Sunroof either. I thought all of these were FWD only.
