You could always "borrow" it without permission...

The only good thing about this snow was that it postponed my MEP's tests for another few days, giving me some time to get in better shape. Besides that, it totally sucked.

That's the cool thing about me getting rid of my Cherokee... I have officially painted myself into a corner. The SVX is my only mode of transportation... well, that and my WRX but I enjoy driving my SVX more.

I could only dream of the snow you all are getting. If it was not so far from the ocean I would move there. I think I will mow my grass tomorrow, another 60deg day

Hahaha...some people...If I wanted snow that bad I'd just make some out of the frost in my freezer.

What's the total snow fall out there so far?

Kinda' depends where you live.

I'm west of Denver in Lakewood near Golden.

The first storm I would say we got an honest 24". The second round I only got about 10". Last weeks edition brought me another 8". At this point though after the warmer temps my snowpack is down to about 10" or so in my back yard (Southern exposure).

Cool thing is... today the temperature is hovering around 60F (drivin' with the sunroof open). I love Denver!

Tomorrow's high will be only 38F, so that kind of balances things out.

Supposedly we have another storm on Friday that has the potential to hammer us again. Personally, based on the predicted temperatures, I doubt we'll get more than six inches over a three day storm (I hope). But I have been wrong about these things before... so have our weather forecasters.

I heard that New York got it's first actual snow fall today, according to CNN. Is that true guys?

i live in northwestern douglas county and my front yard (northern exposure) still has almost three feet of unmelted snow from the storms. the neighbours have a bobcat-type thingy and moved all the snow from the street in front of my house onto the yard and i now have an almost five foot wall of hard, packed dirty snow in the front yard. last night, i went to visit my grandmother in central denver and i got stuck in front of her house. some low-life offered me to push me out for some cash so he could buy boooze or drugs. i didn't see any other option buy to take him up on his offer.

Denver snowfall total as of 1-26-07

Okay so I did a minor amount of research and this is what I came up with.

KMGH Channel 7 here in Denver had this to say on their website this morning.

"Denver officially recorded just under 6 inches of new snow on Sunday, putting the total so far this season at 58 inches. In a normal season, the city would receive 61.7 inches of snow."

Remember this is just for Metro Denver the surrounding watersheds may have more or less... mostly more if you travel west. Looks like my flyfishing won't really kick in this year until after runoff... around August I'd say at this point.

Yeah I'm really sick of this crap (yeah I know we need the water). Tomorrow I am supposed to get another 3-6 inches in the evening out here near the foothills.

Ira

Yeah, I would love to say I'm kidding but unfortunately that's not the case.

Check out 9news.com and see for yourself.
