Well I almost did it

Almost traded the 92 SVX in on a 98 Saab 900 convert. He was only going to give me 3800.00 for trade in on a 8800.00 car. Told him if he gave me 4800 I would think harder about it. He said no. Probably a good thing.

Yeah,

Thats where I was. They were putting a new set of Nokian I3's on my XT and also had them recharged the a/c.

The 900 convert was a 5speed 4cyl, no turbo and is a pretty clean car. I didnt want to pay lots of money and I still like my SVX's ride better but I was looking for better gas mileage and reg gas. Have to start driving 104miles a day now for work. Got a job at KSTP in St Paul fixing thier desktop pc's.

I will drive the XT most of the time now.

I would not sell my SVX that cheap, it's to nice of a car plus I still have a year left on the warrenty.

driving back and forth from duluth i was gettin over 30 mpg... in my 9k... not tryin to change your mind at all, but that was great... i shouldnt have sold that car... now my buddy delivers pizzas in the thing and smashed it up pretty nice in back...
maybe in a year or so andrews will realize the what your svx is worth and you'll get a better trade in on it...? anyways... seriously if you want a saab... look at a 9000cse or aero... you'll get an amazing ride... very fast car... (under 7sec to 60) and the 5spd's already there!

Naaa

I was interested in a convert.

So are there any places in Minnesota that make convertable tops? I may just have to beef up a frame under the XT and remove the top

Trade an SVX for a wobly Euro-Cavalier in drag? No thanks, me says. That deaqler did you a favor, trust me. I once drove a friend's 900 cabrio over a rail crossing and counted in minutes how long it took for the dash and windshiled header to stop shaking.
