Right. I've heard the same thing. But I don't want to make the car look a certain way to make people think it's something else. It's anonymous. People will make their own conclusions.

My point was that you seemed to be suggesting how to make the car look like something else - or at least suggest that it's something else to other people.

At any rate, I think it looks fast enough.

I don't mind the yellow, but i seem to agree with the masses over the wing. I think some silver Konig wheels would have looked better then the black.

more pictures for you to thrash...

Why do I even bother?

I went and took some pictures of my "childish, wanna be fast and furious, airplane wing having svx. I personally took the photos so that is why they look like crap. I should have listened to the advice of my beloved bravelittlepenguin, but I said "Ah what the hell, they are just gonna get ripped apart anyways, so the hell with 'em." Now, enjoy your evening of critique.

BTW.....

I just got done not to long ago today installing those white face gauges from the procarparts.com place. The instructions are a freaking joke. It was a pain in the ass and I would not do it again. It does look really cool though.

Lookin' good Dan

I totally dig the hood scoop, it looks great.. better than some other SVX hood scoops I've seen. I still wanna see a closer shot of the wheels though..

Put some pictures in your locker here.. I'm sure most of us would love a better look

I like the colour. Now that is in sun, I really like that colour. As for the rims, it still stands. Silver IMHO would look better. I like the scoop. The wing still stands. That huge ad on your windshield that adds extra 20 hp just is not made for the SVX. Why god? why? I don't like the tail pipes. They look rice. The girl is a keeper.

You did say trash it right? Ok. back to suggesstions. Try to lower the car a bit. It would look nicer lowered. And in your case, I would put street glows underneath. I don't recommand street glows on cars normally but this will look nice.

But I really like the yellow.

The color is nice. The hoodscoop looks good. Any plans to make it functional?

My opinion on the spoiler has not changed, however. Way too tall. The black rims look pretty bad with the faded black of the tires. A silver (not chromed) would look much better. Actually even anthracite would probably look good. The windshield banner, also, just doesn't complement the car.

I too like the yellow (sorry Randy)

I wonder how it would look with a black roof? Did you think about that before painting?

What would look real good, though, is one of my bumpers on the front end(shameless self promotion )

a different question...

Where the hell is the fuse for your parking lights? I noticed that when I armed my alarm the other day I had no front or back parking lights. Thanks.

I really like that color, but I think that the black roof would look better. The hood scoop is quite nice, looks almost Mustangish, which i dont like....so the scoop is neutral. The wheels = im sorry. Spoiler, im not even going to get into, I think it belongs on a Supra, and should stay there, although i do like a little more height then stock. Exhaust tips are OK i guess, they dont look bad, but dont look exceptionally good.

Overall Rating (out of 10, 7 being completely stock) = ( [1/2] if spoiler was more stock)

Color = Positive.
Hood Scoop = a slight positive (except for mustangishness)
Wheels = Negative.
Spoiler = Negative.
Exhaust = Neutral.
Girl = Positive.

These, of course, are my opinions, so if you dont like what I say, GO TO H....nevermind.

The fuse - I could look, but i have to go swap out some CD Burners, and it's too cold to go outside and look, sorry.

Erm....Addition:

More silverish wheels would look awesome and probably bump the score to a 9 (with the spoiler taken off).

Question Am I the only (old) guy in the world who actually likes ricers?

The pictures look great, Dan.

Don't go rippin' off that spoiler just because the rest of the crew doesn't like it. It still looks a little, uh, rude (?) but I might think differently if I saw it in the flesh, er, fiberglass.

The wheels are class. The style is fairly classic, so if you ever tire of black (get it, "tire" - "black" - I kill me), or if they should go out of style (like tomorrow), you could always paint or plate 'em.

You didn't ruin it. Heck you could'a drapped an I-beam on it like Tim (the tool-jerk) Taylor! (I will never forgive him for that!)

Scoop looks GREAT ! Whats the story behind that exactly...?
Maybe go for the paintable 98 grill next for a more agressive look !

I'm still kinda in the air about it. I like the paint, and I like the rims, upclose and in sunlight. but when you get away they blend in way too much and look like big black circles. or maybe it's just the pictures. A different color would of been better so they stand out a bit more. I freakin love that scoop! That's awsome! But my oppinion remains on the spoiler, It's just doesn't fit w/ the car, at least in my mind.

I also think that lowering and putting some neon under it would look pretty sweet!
