You probably also had Bright Orange Platform shoes with beaded rainbows, but that doesn't make it right....

I don't know why everyone is upset by the color. This SVX has Florida plates, so of course it is painted Citrus Green.

Please pass the Rose's Lime Juice, I need a few drops to sweeten my gin.

Right, that's not just any green. That is the Mopar color from the 70's, and the black on the side is done like the 340 cid powered three/two carbed cars.

Don't you guys get it? That's what the Cudas and Challengers would have looked like with 70's paint and styling from the future. That's the Dodge if 'Doc' went 'back to the future' for the AERO/hovercraft mod.

Check it out though, under the hood. Detail everywhere.

Honestly I like the color...

and if he lost the "SVX Racing" and all the other vinyl on the car (hood, taillights, headlights, sides), the seat covers, and the "rocket boosters" I might actually like the car.

While there might be a lot of detail under the hood, keep in mind he just put a bunch of plastic sheathing on the hoses...

The vinyl was to emulate the Mopar cars. Without the vinyl, it would be just a green SVX. He probably has a friend with an original TA car and liked the idea, wondering how it would translate on an SVX. Something to talk about for sure, and it may look great in reality, depending on one's taste and age.

I wasn't really speaking of the sheathing, but the intake, accessories, etc.

Green is a bit different, but at least they kept the black top. And as for Kawasaki Green, that just kicks @$$, at least on a bike.

The 70's, ended when? Check your radio dial lately?

And those 'green' hemi-clone Cudas, they sell for $120,000! That's just for a clone. The originals go near one million. Looks to me like the 70's are alive and prospering very well.

What a difference a couple decades makes. The SVX opened with a bid of $100.
