Product Review - headlight cleaning
I was at the Acura dealer picking up a part for one of the family cars and at the parts counter they had this product called by a very imaginative name...
Plastic and Headlight Resurfacer/Protector You can go to the company's web site at: www.brightsolutionsinc.com It comes with a cleaner/prep solution, an abrasive paste, sandpaper (I'm guessing 1500 or 2000 grit wet dry), and a "shine restorer" which I assume is mostly a UV protectant coating (a relatively expensive chemical - that's why 303 Aerospace vinyl protectant costs so much more than Armor All). I've done three sets of headlights now - Lexus ES300, Acura CL and the trusty SVX. I must say it works well (sorry too slow to remember to do before/after photos), or at least better than Plexus (IMO). Downside is it cost me $29.95, but I've got enough product to do another set of headlamps, so that works out to $5 bucks a car if you can split it with somebody or have several cars to do (Earl would need the pro pack ). edit: Sorry - of course I can't speak to long term results, I just did this a week ago.
