Normal to go months without seeing other SVXs?

I drive mostly along the beach in Southern California, on PCH, and I don't think I have seen an SVX down here in over a year. I cannot remember the last time I saw one. I see WRXs everywhere including a few modded STIs. These guys are almost always very friendly/interested with the SVX and almost always want to race. My question is, what is going on down here, am I the only one in Los Angeles with an SVX? Are they this rare everywhere? How long do you usually go without seeing another SVX, and that second one you have in the garage DOESNT COUNT! : )

Unless you're in the Northeast, or Northwest, or in other Northern climes, you can definitely go a long time without seeing an SVX. The first SVX I ever saw, I bought.

In fact, about the only time I see another SVX is when I go to meets, or, Steve Wasion (wasions) and I go to lunch.

I go months here in PA without seeing any. Hard to fathom how since there is supposedly such a high concentration of them.

I see 2 almost daily, cause they're right down the road from Rider. A red and a black (with tinted windows, aftermarket wheels, and a bra). Unfortunately I haven't been able to figure out who the owner is because they're parked in an apartment complex.

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

I see very few... except maybe Halistan's and KuoH's. I maybe see one other SVX a month other than my own.

And Randy... one day you and Steve must invite me along to one of those lunches

My svx

As to my knowledge I was the only svx in Terre Haute Indiana. From about october 2002 until October 2003. I know I was the only pearl white one to begin with. But recently a local car dealership which I work for sold a 92 pearl white svx to some punk that put rice all over it.('') Most people around here think that my car is a mitsubishi, and want to prove that they are faster than me by passing me at outrageous speeds. The first question people ususally ask me is "is it a four cyl." "How fast is it.""could it beat me." Nobody around here really apreciates. They just see it as competition. But about one month out of the year i'll see about 3 differnt svx's pass through at different times, with out of state plates on them.

I wish there where more svx's here with nice people driving them that I could hang out with.

STis are getting more popular out here. They are pretty cool. I just thought I would see more SVXs. Generally there are tons and tons of cars everywhere I drive, (many of them very very nice) and I was hoping that after a nearly 2 years I would see more than ZERO svxs out of all those cars. I see more Lotuses and Lamborginis and Vanquishes than I do SVXs. Sad really, we need more in SoCal. Maybe I should ask Arnold?

At least people generally respect the car here. I think they know it is fast, but you are right now that I think about it they are suprised when i tell them 230HP
