Bad Paint Job?

I have a ebony pearl(think thats the color....aka black) and realized that all the plastic pieces along the bottom of my car and bumpers are a different shade of black; its like they dont have the red sparkles in them at all. It only became noticeable after I buffed my car. Is this the same for all of our cars? Or did the previous owner lie to me about never getting the car painted? I think it would be strange that someone would only get the bottom half of a car painted.

Yeah, someone sucks at colormatching. On an ebony car, the whole thing should be one color (Obviously, black with red / green metallic flakes)
Its possible they had the lower portion redone because of chips, scrapes, ect.
same goes for the spoiler, as they tend to get huge rock chips.
if it bothers you you can always have a reputable body shop respray the lower half. Just hope that the previous guys did a better job on the actuall repairs than they did the color matching
