Gum Removal

Yeah, so this weekend, I was lucky enough to have someone sit on my leather seats with a bit o chewed gum on their butt. Super. Anyway, does anyone have any good ideas how to remove the gum and residue from the leather seats?

Goo Gone would be the best for this, wouldnt it?

PS-- what was the gum doing on their butt anyway?

Well, I was visiting a "female friend" and she sat in my car and talked to me for a while. As to the reason for gum being on her butt, I don't know. I can only guess but dont really want to.

Try using some ice to harden the gum. See if I will come off in one chunk.

That ice trick really works... You need to give your 'female friend' a new nick name like "sticky buns"...

Yeah, call me crazy, but there were actually two different girls sitting in the car that night. By process of elimination and one fine question, I have narrowed the suspects to one. After all, when it comes to the leather, it's gotta be guilty until proven innocent.

I am going to try that trick with the ice, however I removed most of it, now there is just a thin surface of gum affixed to the seat. If that fails, I will have to try Goo Gone. Thanks for the suggestions.
