INFO: Thread Headings.
I for sure, as must many others, become very irritated with people who start a thread using a useless title which gives no indication of the content.
This creates frustration and wastes the time of those trying to sort out topics of interest. At the same time many who could be interested miss useful information. A little thought regarding anticipated viewers would go a long way and would be appreciated. The inverse as I have said, most certainly applies. The above comment is not intended to in any way be taken as a criticism of any individual or post.

I agree - and tend to skip over threads titled "help me, trouble, big problems, etc.."

Agreed. Also, don't you just love those "for sale" posts that don't bother to say WHERE the car is? Or say "East Bejeesus", KS. Couldn't the seller bother to say, "small town 20 miles east of Topeka, Kansas"? Poor attention to verbal detail can sometimes indicate a lax attitude towards auto maintenance in general. Or, am I just waving the, "Look at me - I'm terminally anal" flag?
