measurements

Next year CAD class is requiring us to model an engine having the interals with moving parts, so i'm thinking to get a head start and start working on an EG33 motor if anyone can provide diagrams with measurements of the parts it would be extremely helpful.

Thanks

Re: measurements

That's quite a task. What CAD package are you using? Pro-E, Solidworks, Inventor?

Re: measurements

I don't have any measurements for you...but would like a copy of the finished product exported in a DXF or DWG format if you wouldn't mind

Re: measurements

i'll see what i can doo but this is gonna take a LONG time to do every little piece,
i think i better invest in a big pack of batteries for my caliper lol.

Does anything have any requests for parts first?

good thing i have a spare engine i can rip apart to measure then i can reseal it when putting it back together

Re: measurements

I can help with some of this. I need specific measurement call outs though. Just list what you need, and I will take some measurements for you when I get a chance.
