double up the flexplate
since so many people are having issues with flexplates since they keep breaking couldn't you just double up 2 flexplates since they are so thin. then for spacing due to the TC and bellhousing just put a shim there? and voila! thicker plate

Re: double up the flexplate
I've always figured flexplate cracking to be a maybe-once-in-the-life-of-the-car failure. Is it a recurring problem that warrants preventive measures?

SVXride had a string of bad luck with those... I think he lost at least 2 in the same car. Any 4eat 99+ should work Tom |

Re: double up the flexplate
Exactly, which is why you want a 99+ flexplate from one of the trannies that doesn't work (easily) with the SVX.
