This isn't my car, but I think this is probably one of my favorite pictures:

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, scotch in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming HOOOOYA !!!!!

Since I have til June, at least I can wait til the weather improves, i have shots but everytime i go to take pictures it rains haha, this is the result, not to mention the lens getting water on it to make matters worse:

unless you think these look good i'm just using them as examples, i'd much rather get out there and take some new ones rather than submit these, but i definitely want a coffee table book, that's freakin' awesome.

No problem. That just saves me the trouble of taking pictures.

???s

I have wonders on the presentation and quality of this coffee table book. I am hoping that the following things will be accounted for and included:

As far as vehicle captions:Location/Owners Name/model/year/personal tidbit (if applicable)

Book Quality: Not a ring binding! Good Size, Glossy back book paper (not something I expect to see coming out of a standard printer for instance)Maybe a hard cover? cloth binding? sky is the limit!

Print/Photo Quality: Really, lets spare no expense, we all want to see our cars shine, I'm not saying all the shots need to be centerfolds, but the quality of the print/final resolution is so important to everyone, even if my shot ends up being 2 inchs tall in the corner of the page.

Actual Written Content: If you are thinking 80 pages and including History/Mods/Performance/Today/Tomorrow for the various subjects, I REALLY think that this needs to be written and revised professionally. This content is just as important as the photos to each person. Perhaps even posting here, finished text, to check for reactions (and even possible corrections, for the svx tech nuts)

I hope I speak for all in saying that I would rather purchase an expensive, high quality professional finished product (that has my picture in it), than a moderately priced, 'decent' finished product (that has my picture in it).

lol, I wouldn't worry to much zavikan, I do this sort of thing for a living, you won't be dissapointed. Expect to pay 50 dollars or more for the hardcover, it will be worth every penny.

I will check in from time to time with text and ideas, and will have technical information gone through with at least 2 other gear heads. As per posting my copy up for public scrutiny, I won't be going there, and you wouldn't want me to either. The more people have influence over a creative process, the longer it takes.

This isn't going to be something done at a local print shop, you can expect the quality to rival that of any Picasso or architectural coffee table book out there.

If it will be what you claim, I'll pay that for a hard cover copy.

ditto.

I might suggest you also start a thread looking for text/chapter/history ideas.

There is more amazing information on this website ALONE to find. And alot of the super SVX techies have really cool info that isn't terribly easy to find.

Sorry to interrupt you guys if you're talking about something - I was just browsing it, and tripped across this. Jeesh, this was LAST winter I think I took this... Oh no, it looks like it has the Yoko's on those rims, so it must have been this winter sometime... Odd.

OT, but are those Ford Mustang Bullitt rims, or another manufacturer? I considered something like this as an option, but have never seen them on an SVX before. Me likey!

yep, that they are! current (since '04?) Mustangs have the same bolt circle as the SVX.
