i do like my iPod (no problems with battery), but mostly because of the multitude of available accessories and the interface.
it does have some drawbacks over other MP3 players, though (must use iTunes, not easily removeable battery, screen not as nice as others, etc.)

That's great, too bad I was talking about the iPhone...

I bolded the relevant part of the sentence that you clearly ignored.

a friend of mine is now a multimillionaire thanks to those nice little accessories. :P

so people will have to carry around a screwdriver and take 3 minutes to change the spare battery that uses a separate charger for the iPhone? i thought apple was supposed to make life easier for 'normal' people.

I've never told you anything like that before.

No, I'm saying that people are very quick to say 'the end is near' for apple, and blow things out of proportion. Like, HOLY CRAP THE BATTERIES ARE ALL DYING AND YOU CAN NEVER REPLACE THEM! ZOMG!

Or... or... or you just need a screwdriver.

Kinda like OMG OMG APPLES HAVE NO FLOPPY DRIVES OMG OMG OMG THEY SUCK OMG OMG oh wait... nobody really uses those much anymore.

Or OMG OMG OMG OMG THE IPOD IS SO EXPENSIVE NOBODY WILL BUY IT MY RIO MP3 PLAYER IS BETTER CUZ ITS CHEAPER OMG OMG except.... the iPod is better, hence why it's #1.

The same thing is happening with the iPhone right now, from people like you. It happens to anybody who is truly innovative... me, personally, I like innovation, and design. That's why I drive an SVX, and not a camry or something.

what about the Neon? that's as plain-jane, bottom of the barrel, "hi i work at a supermarket" as you can get.

not only is Harry not intelligent enough to understand the iPhone concept, he probably wouldn't be able to figure out how to turn it on, and would just end up chewing on it like a horse biscuit.

I don't own a neon. Why do you keep mentioning neons? Do you own one?
