How to tell if the timing belt has been replaced?
How do I tell if the timing belt has been done yet or not? I know it has to be done at 60k. My SVX has 95,000 miles on it. Any way of knowing without service records?

Thats a tough one I dunno. If the car is driving fine I would leave it alone unless you have a friend who is an honest mechanic and can tell you. Otherwise I would wait till it hits 120k and then just have them replaced.

It's possible a Carfax report could show you that info. Perhaps a call to SOA could also help dig up your car's history.

How long ago did you buy the car? You may be able to pull one of the covers and look at it for the condition and be able to tell. That would be about the only way I would guess.
