Code 11 and ABS question

I have a code 11 showing. What would cause this? How do I correct?

Also when I push on the brake pedal about half the time the pedal will get a gritty feeling to it and sink 1-2 inches right as I come to a halt. Any ideas?

i dont have the better/more precise answers as the other guys do.

but a code 11 for what?
transmission? if it is. that would be solenoid A i believe. problem could possibly be your resistor that is beside your battery (dead).

as for the brake thing......i dont know. maybe you have air in the system or you need the brake master cylinder replaced.(if that was correct)

Are you getting a code for the ABS?
ABS codes range from 0-10 and 16

Welcome to the site!

All the code checking procedures and error lists are located in the SVXipedia on http://svx-iw.com

Transmission code 11 is almost always caused by the resistor located behind the battery.

The code 11 is for the engine, something to do with a crank agle sensor. What would cause that? Just the sensor itself going out?

The ABS threw a code13 I believe, it was for the left rear speed sensor. Is that drivers or pass side?

thanx

Left and right are always relative to someone sitting in the car.

Did the ABS code and pedal problem occur at the same time?
