Diagnostic code:Air control valve 24

ran diagnotics on my car came up with code 24, not familiar with the air control valve. any other possible things this could be such as dirty air filter, how would i correct this?

This is the By-pass Air Control Solenoid Valve, which is in effect an automatic auxiliary throttle which sets and controls engine idle speed. Do you have any sort of idle or stalling problem ?

no idle problem, it starts idling at 1200 for about 15-20 secs then drops down to 750-500, no stalling, where is this valve located and is there a sensor or something i could replace

It would appear that this is not associated with your problem but very strange that you are/were getting code 24. Could you have read it incorrectly? Not hard to do. Was the code simply stored and has since become corrected?
