Honestly, if I ever went the turbo Miata route, I'd get the prev generation MazdaSpeed version, put in a larger FMIC, bigger turbo, fuel injectors and re-mapped ecu and be done with it. Those cars are amazing out of the box and even better with a little more boost!

Thanks! I'm looking forward to it. Depending on how much extra money I have following Xmas, I may just have Collin's car shipped to me.

Because of the 5spd and the aftermarket rims I'll be using, I'll definitely be in the SM class next season (just don't say anything about the cams, 'kay?).

I was about to buy one before the SVX, it was red and having 9000 km on it. but the problem was that those cars were never imported by the dealership, so no spare parts...

i kept looking until I met my babe

and it was love from the first sight...

The TT models only came to the US in 2-seater form. However, they were made as a 2+2. Saw a bunch when I was in South Korea and Japan back in '01-'02. I love the lines of the 2+2 body a lot more. Longer wheelbase also improves handling at the limit. The HICAS system on those cars really sucks though...

The 300ZX turbo back seat is a joke. SVX is like a Cadillac for room in the back compared to those.

Agreed. So is the one in the Supra TT.

VR-4's is a lot better, and the SVX's is by far the roomiest.

Collin, is currently travelling outside of the country and the deal isn't final until he's sent me some additional pics of his car and he's had enough time to fully review my offer. But things are definitely look +ve at this point on both ends.

I'm going to run a carfax on his car as well as look into costs for a one-way plane ticket from Charlottesville to Chicago. This'll be fun!
