Weird SVX -Tribeca connection

The Tribeca and the SVX both share the same passenger side wiper blade refill.

I knew you'd all be excited

Yet another way Subaru is keeping our SVX parts in use

YES!!! May our SVX passengers be able to see forever!!!

Of course they won't really be necessary as we won't have windshields to keep clean.

Forever huh? I've still only viewed 1 Tribeca on the road since it came out compared to 5 XTs, 4 SVXs, 2 Brats (not that I know from before of course). That's not real good numbers. Unless sales pick up it might not last as long as the Aztek did!

I've seen 6 of them in my area so far...all in my town alone. I love the way they look in black.

I've seen about 3-4 in my local area and many more when I travel. However, they definitely aren't as common as the new Legacy sedan & wagon, or the new Outback models.

It may very well go the way of the Baja...

I've seen around 6 or 7 of them recently, ya can't always tell it's a Tribeca til you see the front, quite the resemblance to the Murano/MDX etc.....from the rear/side anyway. They do look better in person then in pics, and the interior is sweet!
I get the feeling they will last longer then the Baja, especialy if they up the power (read: low end grunt) some. Might even last as long as the SVX did

Remember what Subaru said when the Baja came out Chike was bascially that it was a new model to use up supplies and keep the factory running at a higher capacity (just as Isuzu continued to slide away into history) and that it would most likely only see a couple of years of production until the new platform was ready for production. It has actually lasted longer!!!

I've yet to see a Tribeca, but did see a *****in' little red AWD Justy the other day right around the corner from my place, and you never see those down here.

Dave, have y'all sold any Tribecas? (Will this be Subaru's worst sales snafu yet?)

We've sold a few but most of our Tribeca stock has been around for a while.

Lots of Tribecas to be seen in the Charleston area, especially when they haven't been available all that long.

Many Subaru's in todays line-up look very very good in person and don't look all that great in pictures for some reason. That was my first thought when I saw the new imprezza front end and when I saw the Tribeca in person as well.
