Duty Solenoid B failure
So my power light started blinking and it's coming up with Duty Solenoid B. I'm wondering what are the most likely causes of this. Am I looking at a costly rebuild? Is it a rebuild of the tranny or a differential? If it's the tranny then I'm done with the svx auto and will look at a manual conversion. Thanks in advance for any insight on this problem.

you will have to buy & replace the solenoid pack. Can be done in car with I'd guess 1 hour labor charge. $317.50 at subaruparts (part #2 on this page).

I really hope its just the solenoid and not a sign of a worse problem. I'll take it to the shop and see what they say. If they say anything near "rebuild" I'll stop them right there. Thanks for your help.
