tape deck

i found out the other day that my tape deck doesnt work (unless theres some trick to it) but i put a tape in the other day to see if it worked or not, to my suprise it did nothing. after i had the tape in there i relized i couldnt get it back out, the buttons dont work for the tape part so i have a tape stuck in my radio and dont know how to get it back out. this probably sounds really noob, sorri. any and all help is appreciated.

There's no trick; if you put in a tape and it doesn't play or eject, the player doesn't work.

It does have power, right?

the button decided to work, i went out and pressed it and the tape came right out.
