4eat question

Just wondering if a 1997 SVX transmission with a 3:90 gear ratio swap will work in a 1998 Legacy gt.

So you have an SVX 4EAT, that has a 3.90 FDR, a matching rear end?
If so the only thing that you have to check is whether the GT has a spin on oil filter.
If it does they ARE NOT compatable.
If your GT DOES NOT have the spin on filter, then you should be fine, as long as you use the speedometer sensor from the GT.
