Oxygen sensor

My '94 SVX cannot pass an emissions test. The error code (37) specifies the left side oxygen sensor. I've replaced both sensors in case left did not mean driver side, but still failed with the same error code reappearing.

It failed because NOX levels were about 80% above standard. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Check that your timing belt has not jumped a tooth and that your injectors/sparkplugs are doing their jobs.

Yeah, I was just about to ask how it was running.

Oxygen sensor

The car is starting and running fine. I didn't think it would if the timing belt was off. I once installed a timing belt off a tooth and it didn't want to start or run well.

There are different fault codes for each injector, but maybe it could be the spark plugs. God, I hate to change those things.

After doing the valve covers the plugs are no big deal.

Seeing as the problem you have is NoX relatd, I'd look over your EGR system. Maybe it is not functioning properly, or is blocked up with something.
