Engine Build Question

The crank pulley on my EJ22 went for a walk and I've got a spare EJ18 that I'm going to borrow the crank and heads from. So the EJ18 heads and crank will be going into the EJ22 block. What I'm wondering is: Should I use the main and rod bearings from the 18 or 22 block or should I just get new ones? I'd like to spend as little as possible as I don't have much to spend. I'm going to put on the 18 heads to see what I get from upping the compression as well. Thanks.

Stephen
