Question Grinding

I just purchased a 92' SVX about a month ago(2nd One). When I'm at a complete stop and then accelerate I feel a grinding either in the front diff or axle. It last for about a 1 second, then it goes away. The tranny has no problems in shifting. It feels like metal on metal. Help...

Seeing it only lasts for a second, I doubt that it would be the diff or transmission. Could be a halfshaft, CV joint, suspension rubbers or links, or some other external part.

Harvey.
